Spirit Pay Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Skybound Solutions LLC (“Skybound”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the Spirit Pay platform.

1. What Spirit Pay Is

Spirit Pay is a Stripe Connect platform operated by Skybound Solutions LLC. It enables schools and booster organizations to accept card payments via Stripe at concession stands and events. Skybound facilitates payments; all payment processing is performed exclusively by Stripe, Inc.

2. What Data We Collect

Onboarding & Contact Information

When your organization contacts us or requests Spirit Pay setup, we collect your name, email, phone number, and organization name.

Connected Stripe Account Data

When you connect your Stripe account via OAuth, Stripe provides us access to your connected account data — specifically: transaction IDs, transaction amounts, payout records, payout status, Stripe account identifiers, and event metadata. We use this data solely to operate Spirit Pay, display reports, and calculate platform fees. We do not access or store full card details, customer PII, or any data beyond what is necessary for platform operation.

Payment Card Data — None

We do not collect, store, or have access to your customers' payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or other financial credentials. All such data is handled exclusively by Stripe under their PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To configure and manage your Spirit Pay platform access
  • To calculate and collect the Skybound platform fee via Stripe application_fee_amount
  • To generate transaction and event reports for your organization
  • To provide customer support
  • To send service-related communications (setup updates, policy changes)
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

4. Stripe & Data Sharing

Spirit Pay is built on Stripe Connect. When your organization connects its Stripe account:

  • Your connected account data is shared between Stripe and Skybound as necessary to operate the service
  • Customer payment data (card numbers, bank details) goes directly to Stripe — Skybound never receives or stores it
  • Stripe processes data under their own privacy policy

5. Data Retention

We retain onboarding and service data for as long as necessary to provide the Spirit Pay service and comply with applicable law. Stripe account access data is retained only while your account remains connected to Spirit Pay.

6. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your organization's data held by Skybound, email info@skyboundmi.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request — Spirit Pay” and include your organization name. We will process your request within 30 days.

To revoke Skybound's access to your Stripe connected account, go to your Stripe Dashboard → Settings → Connect and remove Spirit Pay.

7. Security

Payment security is enforced by Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure. Skybound does not store sensitive payment data. We use industry-standard practices to protect the operational data we do hold.

8. Cookies & Analytics

The Spirit Pay platform and skyboundmi.com do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or non-essential cookies. No usage data is shared with advertising networks. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated with a new effective date before any tracking is implemented.

9. Changes

Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated via email or a notice on this page with an updated effective date.
